This is legitimately one of my favorite thrash metal albums. It may not have been released in the classic era but it sure sounds like it and captures everything I love about the bands who played this particular style of thrash. I saw Sacred Reich with Carcass this year and they were amazing! These OGs of the genre sound as good as ever. 9RnK7

Damn, these guys know how to adorn epic music with sub-par cover art - but "Lamenting..." proves to be an absolute stunner once it plays. Sorcerer deliver another masterclass in Epic Doom, merging traditional vibes with contemporary production values AND sounding fresh while doing so. The songs may be even stronger than before, with no fillers and huge vocal lines throughout. If you're remotely interested in the melancholy-ridden yet powerful fringes of Epic Metal, this is mandatory. x0riente

This is the long awaited Fates Warning #4 with John Arch, the follow up to Awaken the Guardian. So amazing that takes it you back to 1987. This is not an album, this is a piece of art !. memomclaren
